Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Duncan Keith will not participate in the upcoming World Cup of Hockey while he continues to rehab from a right knee injury suffered last season."As Duncan continues offseason rehabilitation on the right knee injury that he sustained last season, we understand his decision not to participate in next month's World Cup of Hockey," Hawks team physician Michael Terry said in a statement."We believe it is in his best interests to focus on getting stronger and not risk further injury."Keith underwent surgery to repair a meniscal tear in his right knee on Oct. 20 after saying he was injured during the 2015 Stanley Cup Final.
