Sidney Crosby will captain Canada in the World Cup of Hockey (AFP Photo/Jonathan Nackstrand)Los Angeles (AFP) - Sidney Crosby will captain Canada at the upcoming World Cup of Hockey, it was confirmed Thursday.Hockey Canada said in a statement the 29-year-old Pittsburgh Penguins ace would be backed by Chicago forward Jonathan Toews and Montreal's Shea Weber as alternates."These are three leaders who have demonstrated their ability to win at all levels, and we are looking to them to bring that experience, and their relentless pursuit of excellence, as we come together as a team," Canada manager Doug Armstrong said.
