Chicago Blackhawks prospect Lucas Carlsson was named to Team Sweden's World Junior Championship roster while fellow prospect John Dahlström was among the final cuts, the Swedish Ice Hockey Association announced Sunday.Carlsson has a goal and four assists for Brynäs IF of the Swedish Hockey League in 19 games this season.The 6-foot, 190-pound defenseman has never played in the World Juniors tournament.

The Chicago Blackhawks thought they'd be represented by two of their prospects on Team USA at the 2017 World Junior Championships.However, both Alex DeBrincat and Chad Krys were cut and did not make the final roster, which USA Hockey announced Saturday.Both DeBrincat and Krys won bronze with Team USA at last year's tournament.
